Brian Coulter

Brian Coulter completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario, earning degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Within his first month at university, Brian involved himself in the SunStang Solar Car Team - an involvement eventually culminating in a 3000km race across the Australian Outback in an entirely solar-powered vehicle. At the same time, he was very involved in the UWO residences where he served as a residence don, helping to ease the transition between high school and university for new students. Having spent a series of summers working at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Brian has focused his goals for the future on the international financial markets. Soon to be reading for an MPhil in Economics at Keble College, Brian hopes to study improving the stability of financial markets. Brian considers the phone call that confirmed his Rhodes Scholarship as the most exhilarating of his life.
