Bach and Baudelaire. Nothing else need be said, for this is the quintessence of what makes up Vincent. It might, nonetheless, prove useful to dilute this portrait; whether it be in mathematics, poetry, classics or music, Vincent's motivation stems from a thirst for understanding, both our surroundings and ourselves. He is also motivated by a sense of duty, and aspires, perhaps in a romantic fashion, to virtue. At the end of the day, however, Bach is of no avail on the outdoor ice rinks of Montreal, where Vincent spends most of his winter playing hockey. Rumor has it that his playing style is, if not poetic, closely resembling to the verses of Baudelaire.
